Are Coco🥥 & Shea and Avocado🥑 & Shea soaps right for you?

Hi Beauties,

In planning my winter skin routine, I like to take into consideration my day to day activities as well as how my skin reacts to the drier air. I've become a person thats takes my skincare very seriously and want to always be comfortable in my skin daily (your skin is the largest organ on your body). That's where the Coco & Shea and Avocado and Shea soaps come into play.

I created shea butter soaps because they allow a layer of emollients to remain on the skin after cleansing. This is not done on purpose, it is an automatic benefit when using shea butter as it cannot be completely converted into soap. Our shea butter soaps are made with over 50% of shea butter🙌🏾. So why is shea butter so great? Keep reading to learn why.

Shea Butter Soaps by Beauty Mixtress™

The benefits of shea butter comes from its chemical makeup. Shea butter contains:

  • Linoleic, palmitic, stearic, and oleic fatty acids, ingredients that balance oils on your skin
  • Vitamins A, E, and F, antioxidant vitamins that promote circulation and healthy skin cell
  • Growth triglycerides, the fatty part of the shea nut that nourishes and conditions your skin
  • Cetyl esters, the waxy part of the shea nut butter that conditions skin and locks in moisture

Coconut Milk Soap by Beauty Mixtress™

Coconut milk benefits for your skin (Coco🥥 & Shea)

Coconut milk is packed with healthy skin oils and antioxidants, which gives it a number of skin-friendly benefits. It's generally safe to use for all skin types. (unless you have a known sensitivity to coconuts). See below to discover the top three benefits of adding our Coco & Shea soap to your daily skincare routine.

Here are three of the main coconut milk benefits for your skin.

1. Cleanses. Like coconut oil, coconut milk works as an effective cleanser for removing dirt and debris from your pores while nourishing your complexion in the process. Dermatologists recommend it as a skin cleanser since it not only is excellent at removing makeup, it also replenishes healthy oils and antioxidants, including some vitamin C, into the skin.

2. Hydrates. Coconut milk is a super hydrator. The water is nutrient-dense and the fat helps to smooth skin cells and lock in the hydration.

3. Soothes irritation. If your skin is feeling red and raw, coconut milk can help. Coconut milk is known to have soothing and moisturizing properties that can leave your skin feeling soft and supple. It can also help to calm irritation.

Avocado Soap by Beauty Mixtress™

Avocado skin benefits (Avocado🥑 & Shea)

Avocado’s high concentration of fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants make it a valuable addition to your skincare routine. See below to discover the top three benefits of adding Avocado & Shea soap to your daily skincare routine.

  • Avocado is a powerful moisturizer. The healthy fats in avocado are great for moisturizing your skin. Avocado flesh contains 63% oleic acid this aids in keeping the skin hydrated. Our customers rave on how moisturized/conditioned their skin feels when they step out the shower and pat themselves dry.🙌🏾
  • Avocado is rich in antioxidants. Avocado is rich in antioxidants, specifically carotenoids, and polyphenols. These antioxidants help protect against damage caused by free radicals (causes aging skin). The antioxidants in avocados can help keep the skin healthy and protected from damaging external factors that causes stress to your skin.
  • Avocado can soothe your skin. For those with sensitive skin types, inflammation can be a daily occurrence whether you notice it or not. It’s one of the skin’s primary responses to irritants, like pollution, extreme temperatures, or harsh ingredients.
